need feature that selects multiple students and then navigates among them

While working on #537 I set the selected_student in the session to an integer, which failed to match on index in the student navigation and caused an exception. None of the tests caught this.
To resolve:
1. Feature that selects multiple students, navigates first, last,
previous, next
2. helper spec that tests for selected_student_id not in
selected_students_ids
