application freezing, missing data at newberlin

Also - there has been a complaint about a "time out" issue and "freezing" issue when attempting to save in SIMS. User says they type a lot of info, program freezes, and when they go back in all the data is gone. Have you heard of this?? Or do you have any suggestions?

this could be an authenticity token error, or could be the browser freezing. Periodic autosave and autorestore might be a good idea.

Staff Jessica LaRosa is having a saving problem. I had her test SIMS outside of the Campus interface to see if I could narrow down the problem. This is information from her: I was able to login in the sims program outside of Infinite campus. I tried entering my data and clicked save. Again I logged out of the program, then logged back in and I did not see all data saved that I entered. 4 out of 8 of my data saved. For some reason it is not consistently saving all my data entered.
Staff Pat Bielke is having the saving and freezing problem but I don't have specifics from her yet. This is her last email to me: One frustrating technical problem is that the program will "freeze up" easily. It is necessary to leave the program and log-in again, at which time all of the data just entered is lost. Unfortunately, I have found that within SIMS it happens easily and often. Finally, another issue is that the security system initially blocks SIMS, so I often have to go through a process of allowing the website. This is cumbersome.
