Creation- This group is now available in the student search screen.
Update- The students in this group have been updated. If you've added students and want to work with all students in this group you should go back to the student search screen and select the group. -

You go back to the student selection (and possibly search) and select the students that you want to add. So if you want to add 1 student, you go and select that one student (no need to select the others.) Then click on Personal Groups. Now that student can be added to any of your groups.
I'll add an explanation of this on the new and edit pages while I'm working on the other changes.
