Could there be an option on the Team Consultation form to check a box if the staff member was requesting a BCT meeting (Building Consultation Team) by filling out the form? Currently, every time the Team Consultation form is completed/saved, an e-mail is sent to the BCT members we have put in the program. This is fine, because then we are notified that a staff member has added information that we can go to and read. In the past, staff were told that when the e-mail was received, it meant that a BCT meeting would be scheduled on the student. However, staff are saying that they would like to be able to add information on the Team Consultation form when they are starting an intervention in order to document "why" they are starting an intervention, but they do not necessarily want a BCT meeting scheduled at that point. If there was a box to check which indicated whether they were specifically requesting a meeting, I would see that when I went to the student's file to review the New Team Consultation form.
